Hello! I'm Kristi Ballmann . I recently moved to Springfield from St. Louis, MO. While in St. Louis, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I taught 2nd grade for 5 years and 4th grade for one year before taking some time off to raise my two young children. I'm excited to be back in the classroom, beginning my 6th year of teaching 2nd grade!
My family is incredibly important to me. My husband, Scott, and I have been married for 7 years and we have two beautiful and dynamic children. Sophie is 5 and Luke is 3. I feel blessed to be working in a school where we have chosen to send our children.
From an early age, I felt confident that I would, someday, become a teacher. Working with children is my passion. I feel blessed and honored to teach your child and help prepare him/her for two of their Catholic faith sacraments, Penance and First Holy Communion.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family at home or out and about - parks, zoo, swimming, etc. My personal hobbies include photography, scrap-booking, journaling, reading, and watching St. Louis Cardinal's baseball!
